User Management in Hex Safe

Accessing User Management

To reach the user management section:

  1. Log in to your account
  2. Click Settings in the left-hand menu from the dashboard
  3. Select User Management

Know Your Customer (KYC) Requirements

New users in certain jurisdictions must complete KYC protocols with specific documentation:

  • Hex Trust Italia (Approvers only): Passport
  • Hex Trust Hong Kong (Approvers only): Passport
  • Hex Trust Singapore (Approvers only): Certified True Copy of Passport, Certified True Copy of Residential Address Proof (dated within 6 months), Job Title
  • Hex Trust MENA (All users): Passport, Residential Address Declaration, Liveness Check via SumSub

Adding a New User

  1. Click "Add User"
  2. Enter user details:
  3. Full Name
  4. Email Address
  5. Select the Vault to assign
  6. Add Roles from available options
  7. Click "Continue"
  8. Verify details and click "Confirm Add User"
  9. Confirm the transaction via Hex Safe Mobile App
  10. Admin Approvers must approve additional users

Note: "Only Admins are able to add / edit / deactivate users while admin approvers can approve these changes."

Edit Permission

  1. In User Management, locate the user
  2. Under "Action" section, click the (...) icon
  3. Select "Edit Permission" to change assigned vault and roles
  4. Confirm via Hex Safe Mobile App
  5. Admin Approvers must approve changes

Deactivating a User

  1. In User Management, locate the user
  2. Under "Action" section, click (...)
  3. Select "Deactivate User"
  4. Verify details and click "Confirm"
  5. Confirm via Hex Safe Mobile App

To reactivate a deactivated user, contact clients@hextrust.com.

Admin Quorum

  • Only Admins can update the quorum number by clicking "Update"
  • Admin Approvers must approve requests via mobile app
  • "The Admin Quorum number cannot exceed the number of active Admin Approvers who have paired their mobile app"

Admins and Admin Approvers can track all requests through the "All Requests" list page.
