How to Stake and Unstake STX (Stacks) on Hex Safe

Stack (STX) Staking Steps

1. Navigate to Staking: Go to the Staking section in Hex Safe.

2. Select STX: Choose Stacks (STX) and click "Stake now".

3. Read Description: Review the staking information and click Continue.

4. Select Vault: Choose the Vault you wish to stake from and click Continue.

5. Select the Staking Partner and Accept Terms and Conditions:

6. Select your preferred Staking Partner

7. Carefully read, understand, and accept the terms

8. Enter Stake Details:

9. Input the amount of STX you wish to stake
10. Specify the duration in cycles or select Infinite Duration
    • Each cycle is approximately 2100 Bitcoin blocks (approximately 15 days)
    • With Infinite Duration, you can unstake anytime*

11. Click "Stake" button and "Confirm Staking" after verification

12. Confirm and Approve on Hex Safe Mobile App:

13. Confirm the transaction via the Hex Safe Mobile App
14. Users with the Approver role must approve the transaction

*you can unstake your STX on demand when selecting infinite duration. However, there will be an on-chain cooling period of 1 cycle.

UnStack (Unstake) STX

1. Unstake:
2. Navigate to the Staking section in Hex Safe
3. Locate your active staking position by scrolling down

4. Click the "Unstake" button

5. Confirm Unstake Details:

6. Verify asset, network, vault, and other details on the confirmation screen

7. Click "Confirm Unstaking" button

8. Confirm and Approve on Hex Safe Mobile App:

9. Confirm the transaction via the Hex Safe Mobile App
10. Users with the Approver role must finalize the transaction
