XRPL trust lines

On the XRP Ledger (XRPL), an account can only hold a token issued on the ledger, such as a stablecoin, if it has a trust line for that token. In Hex Safe you manage your vaults' trust lines in Settings › Blockchain › Trust Line Management.

Each trust line uses 2 XRP from the vault. You can get it back after you remove the trust line.

Click the highlighted area on each screen to move through the steps. All names, balances and addresses are demo data.

  1. Go to Settings › Blockchain.
  2. Next to Trust Line Management, click Edit.
  3. Click Add New Trust Line.
  4. Hex Safe opens the Deposit form. Choose the XRPL asset and the vault, then continue as for any deposit.
  1. Empty the vault's balance of that asset first. You can't remove a trust line while the vault still holds the asset.
  2. Remove the trust line in Trust Line Management.
  3. You can then retrieve the 2 XRP back to your main vault.
