Hex Trust provides clients with comprehensive insurance coverage at no extra cost. Through their insurance partner AON, they offer aggregate coverage of up to USD 25 Million across all Vault types (Safe and Safe Plus).

Coverage Details

The Specie insurance policy covers two main categories of events:

Physical Loss or Damage Coverage includes loss or damage to private keys resulting from: fire, lightning, explosion, smoke, windstorm, hail, riot, civil commotion, aircraft or vehicle impact, vandalism, sprinkler leakage, sinkhole collapse, volcanic action, falling objects, snow/ice/sleet weight, water damage, flood, earthquake, tsunami, or accidental electrical damage.

Fraudulent Acts The policy covers "dishonest and/or fraudulent acts or omissions" of Hex Trust (whether acting alone or in collusion with others) concerning private keys and authentication credentials.
