How does Hex Safe protect me against phishing NFTs?¶
This guide details how Hex Safe empowers you to identify and manage suspicious NFTs, safeguarding your digital assets.
Two Lines of Defense:¶
- Automated Suspicious NFT Detection: The system continuously scans and flags NFTs exhibiting suspicious characteristics for added security.
- User-Flagged Suspicious NFTs: You can manually flag NFTs that concern you, giving you greater control over your collection.
Flagging Suspicious NFTs:¶
To mark a questionable NFT:
- Access NFT Collection: Navigate to the account holding the NFT collection and click the "NFTs" tab.
- Identify the NFT: Locate the suspected fraudulent NFT.
- Flag as Suspicious: Click the "..." button next to the NFT and select "Suspicious" from the dropdown menu.
- Confirm Action: Review in the confirmation window and click "Mark as suspicious" to proceed.
Important Note: Flagging an NFT as suspicious hides the entire collection to which it belongs.
Unhiding NFTs:¶
To restore previously flagged NFTs:
- Access NFT Collection: Go to the account and click the "NFTs" tab.
- Show Hidden NFTs: Click "Show hidden NFTs" to display marked items.
- Locate the NFT: Find the NFT you wish to unhide.
- Unhide the NFT: Click the "..." button and select "Not suspicious" from the dropdown menu.
- Confirm Action: Click "Mark as not suspicious" to confirm.
Important Note: "You can only unhide NFTs that you yourself flagged as suspicious. NFTs automatically detected by the system as suspicious cannot be unhidden to ensure maximum protection."
