      Gas Station

      Overview
      The Gas Station is a specialized vault designed to automatically fund gas fees for settlements from your Trading Vaults. This feature ensures uninterrupted transaction processing by preventing failures due to insufficient gas.

      Key Features

      • Enabled by the Account Admin: The Account Admin can enable the Gas Station. (Click here to view User Roles.)
      • Automatic Funding: When a Trading Vault does not have enough assets to cover gas fees, the Gas Station Vault automatically provides the required amount.
      • Ethereum Only: This feature is available exclusively for the Ethereum blockchain and covers ETH and all ERC-20 trade settlements.
      • Single Vault Per Client: Each Trading Client is allocated one dedicated Gas Station Vault.
      • No Approval Required: Automatic funding to your Trading Vaults from the Gas Station does not require approval.
      • Deposit & Withdrawal: You can deposit assets into your Gas Station at any time. Withdrawals are also possible but follow the same User Roles and standard approval quorum set for the Hex Safe Enterprise.

      How to Set Up the Gas Station Vault
      You must have an Account Admin User Role.

      1. Go to your Hex Safe Dashboard.
      2. Click Enable Gas Station.
      3. Read and accept the Terms and Conditions.
      4. Approve the action on your Hex Safe Mobile App.

      How to Use the Gas Station Vault

      1. Depositing Funds

        • Identify your Gas Station Vault in Hex Safe.
        • Transfer assets to your Gas Station by initiating a deposit transaction.

      2. Automatic Funding of Trading Vaults

        • If a Trading Vault has insufficient funds for gas fees, a deposit of 0.003 ETH will be automatically sent from the Gas Station Vault to the Trading Vault.
        • No manual approval is required.

      3. Withdrawing Funds from the Gas Station Vault

        • Initiate a withdrawal transaction from the Gas Station Vault.
        • The transaction follows the same approval quorum as your Hex Safe Enterprise.
        • Once approved, the assets are transferred to the designated address.
