      Product Release Notes - May 2022

      As part of continuous improvement, Hex Trust released the following platform upgrades in May 2022:

      Polygon Network and MATIC Token Support 
      Terra 2.0 Network and LUNA Token Support
      New NFTs Support

      • Polygon Network and MATIC Token Support 

      The Polygon platform was launched to connect and grow Ethereum-compatible projects and blockchains. Polygon is a sidechain and is a unique blockchain that is bound to the main Ethereum blockchain and is effective in supporting many Decentralized Finance (DeFi) protocols available in Ethereum. Polygon uses a modified proof-of-stake consensus mechanism to efficiently operate the platform and is a layer-2 network itself. Their native token called MATIC is used to govern and secure the Polygon network and pay transaction fees.

      • Terra 2.0 Network and LUNA Token Support

      Terra 2.0 Blockchain Network and its new token LUNA that was airdropped to holders of LUNA Classic (the original LUNA token) are now supported by Hex Safe thanks to our technology team and their prompt response to the market developments. 

      • New NFTs Support

      Hex Safe added support for four popular NFTs that included WonderPals, Otherdeed, Moonbirds and the Mutant Ape Yacht Club. Learn more about each asset here. 


      • Along with the new digital assets onboarding, Hex Trust implemented technical improvements to the code and bug fixes.
