This partnership between multinational American corporation Nike and sneaker NFT creative studio RTFKT brought to masses a collection of 200,000 NFT trainers. The virtual shoes can be used by NFT holders to participate in Nikeland, the manufacturer’s metaverse. The concept of the collection revolves around leveraging metaverserse technology to recreate major global events such as the World Cup in a digital world.
The gaming platform already has more than 200 million monthly active users, and is available for PC, Mac, iOS, Android, Amazon Devices, Xbox One, Oculus Rift and HTC Vive, and includes cross-play options.
