      First-time Account Set Up

      Step by step guide on how to set up your Hex Safe account

      1. After successfully completing your onboarding, you will receive an email titled ‘Welcome to Hex Safe v2’. Click on the ‘Get started with Hex Safe’ button to begin setting up your account on Hex Safe. 

      ℹ️ Your account will be fully usable once you have completed the set up process. You will have 72 hours from the time of the email to complete the process.

      ℹ️ Please ensure you have a mobile device ready before you proceed.

       

      2. On Hex Safe, you will be greeted with a welcome screen on your mobile/web browser. Click "Get started now" to proceed.

      3. Upon clicking the "Get started now" button, you will be asked to create a password for your Hex Safe v2 account.

      ℹ️ It's important to use a strong password that includes a mixture of alphanumeric characters (i.e. numbers, letters, and special characters). Your password must also be a minimum length of 8 characters.

       

      4. Once you've set up your password, you will need to set up your Two-factor Authentication. To learn more about Two-factor Authentication and why it is mandatory for your account, please visit this article here.

       

      5. To set up your Two-factor Authentication, start by downloading the Google Authenticator mobile app for your mobile device on the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store.

       

      6. After downloading the mobile app, scan the QR code to import the Hex Safe account access code to Google Authenticator. You will need to use these Google Authenticator generated codes to log in. 

       

      7. After scanning the QR code, you will have completed the Two-factor Authentication setup and will see the following screen.

      Congratulations! You have now completed your first-time account setup for your Hex Safe v2 account. You can now click "Log in now" and use the username given to you, the password you set, and the 2FA code generated on Google Authenticator to access your account.
