      Hex Safe Mobile App

      Overview

      The Hex Safe Mobile App is used to easily confirm and approve transactions on your mobile device. Built with strict security standards and a smooth user experience in mind, the app is available on Android and iOS for all users of Hex Safe v2.

      You can set up your Hex Safe Mobile app in just three minutes.

      Hex Safe Mobile App Features

      Through the Hex Safe Mobile app, you’ll be able to:

      • Confirm transaction initiations (For Initiators)
      • Authorise transaction approvals (For Approvers)
      • Speed up transaction-related actions via Biometric Authentication
      • Receive instant notifications related to pending account related actions
      • Immediately review pending account actions that need to be confirmed or approved

      Setting up your Hex Safe Mobile App

      Please ensure you have a mobile device ready before you proceed.

      1. Ensure you are logged into your Hex Safe v2 account on the Web Platform.

      2. Click on your name (which doubles as the drop-down menu) on the top right of the screen.

      3. Click "Settings."

      4. Click "Set Up Now" to the right of the Hex Safe Mobile App section.

      5. With your mobile device, Scan the QR code to open the Hex Safe Mobile App download page on either the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store.

      6. Download the Hex Safe Mobile App on your mobile device.

      7. Once downloaded, open the app.

      8. On the Web Platform, click "Start Set Up."

      9. Using your mobile device, scan the QR code presented to you on the Web Platform.

        1. Alternatively, you can manually type the 20 alphanumeric characters on your mobile device, which act as the the activation code.

      10. After scanning the QR code or manually typing the 20 characters on your mobile device, you will see an 8-digit confirmation code on the Web Platform. Click "Yes" if the confirmation code matches on both your mobile device and Web Platform.

      11. Verify your identity using Google Authenticator to successfully set up your Hex Safe Mobile App.

      12. Congratulations, you have successfully set up your Hex Safe Mobile App.

       

      How to unpair the Hex Safe Mobile App

      Please ensure you have a mobile device ready before you proceed.

      1. Ensure you are logged into your Hex Safe v2 account on the Web Platform.

      2. Click on your name (which doubles as the drop-down menu) on the top right of the screen.

      3. Click "Settings."

      4. Click "Unpair Now" to the right of the Hex Safe Mobile App section.

      5. Read the prompt and click "Unpair Now" again.

      6. Open your Google Authenticator app and enter your 2-Factor Authentication code to unpair your Hex Safe Mobile App.

      7. Congratulations, you have successfully unpaired your Hex Safe Mobile App.
