Staking

What is Staking?

Staking is a process in which digital assets holders participate in the operation of a blockchain network by locking up a portion of their assets. This helps maintain the security and functionality of the network. In return, participants, known as "delegators," earn rewards, usually in the form of additional cryptocurrency.

How does Staking work ?

Validators are essentially responsible for verifying the legitimacy of transactions on a blockchain. They achieve this by adding new blocks of data to the chain. To become a validator, users typically need to stake a certain amount of the network's native token. The more tokens staked, the higher the chance of being selected to validate a block and earn rewards.
