BTC & CORE Staking Steps

  1. Navigate to Staking

    • Go to the Staking section in Hex Safe.

  2. Select BTC/Core

    • Choose BTC or CORE and click Stake.

  3. Read Description

    • Review the staking information and click Continue.

  4. Select Vault and Strategy

    • Choose the Vault you want to stake from.

    • Select the asset(s) you wish to stake by choosing the strategy:

      • Dual Staking (BTC + CORE)

      • Core

      • Bitcoin

  5. Enter Stake Details and Choose Validator

    • Enter the amount of BTC/CORE you wish to stake.

    • Choose your preferred validator.

    • Review the details and click Continue.

    • If you selected Dual Staking, you will be prompted to confirm and approve both BTC and Core positions separately.

  6. Terms and Conditions

    • Acknowledge the Terms and Conditions.

    • Specify the staking duration (in days) and click Apply*.

    • Click Confirm and Stake after verification.

  7. Confirm and Approve on Hex Safe Mobile App

    • Confirm the transaction via the Hex Safe Mobile App.

    • Users with the Approver role must approve the transaction.

*The staking duration applies only to BTC. Your BTC will be available for withdrawal only after the specified duration has ended. You cannot unstake the BTC prior to duration expiry. CORE can be unstaked at any time.

Unstake CORE 

  1. Unstake:

    • Navigate to the Staking section in Hex Safe.
    • Locate your active CORE staking position and click the “...” button.
    • Select “Unstake”.
  2. Confirm Unstake Details:

    • Verify asset, network, vault, and other details on the confirmation screen.
    • Click Continue.
  3. Choose a Validator:

    • Select the staking position that you wish to unstake.
  4. Review and Confirm:

    • Double-check the transaction details and click Confirm Unstake.
  5. Authenticate and Approve:

    • Confirm the transaction via the Hex Safe Mobile App.
    • Users with the Approver role must finalize the transaction.
